GO Juan GO GO GO GO!
Every year we have a number of dedicated athletes run in the “Run Melbourne, Run” event. It’s so great to see people getting together and running for our foundation - it means a lot to us and the donations & sponsorship money friends and family provide to the runners is all donated to our cause and keeping our projects running!
This year our top fundraising runner is Juan Vazquez. He set a target of $2500 a few weeks ago and has since soared past that. Juan is currently sitting on $4626 AUD which is just outstanding! Juan has also made it into the top 5 “Run Melbourne, Run” fundraisers, number five out of over 4000 runners who are fundraising for all sorts of fantastic causes. Juan is an incredible inspiration to us all and has informed us that the top 10 fundraisers receive a prize, Juan has offered to donate that to CKF also! What a guy!
Please feel free to donate to Juan and help him climb even higher past his target! Who knows we could get to over $5000! All money raised by Juan will be going towards our Soksan International School. Follow the link to donate and leave a message of support. (:

Recycled Blog

So this Blog is being recycled. wow.
I could have made a new one, but decided this one didn’t get much use anyway so may as well be recycled and reloved.

On the 30th of March my adventure will begin. My Girlfriend and I are travelling over to Cambodia to live for the next seven months. During the time we will be setting up projects and overseeing the work of our foundation - the Cambodian Kids Foundation. (they have a tumblr go add them)

But a big part of my time over there will be for myself & my illustrations.
I plan on illustration all of the buildings in Cambodia (okay maybe not all, but a lot).
From slum areas to high rise skyscrapers, from little wooden huts to simple tarpaulins.

I have an obsession with buildings so this is just going to be pure bliss for me!
I also plan to sell the prints online donating any money raised to the foundation.

This project wont be starting until the end of March/early april - so please check back soon. Thanks guys

Sam XOXX
